Abstract Submission Guidelines For Oral Presentation
We cordially invite you to submit your abstract(s) for the Neuromodulation Society of Singapore to be held on 18 July 2026 at the Academia, Singapore General Hospital.
Abstract(s) submission for oral presentation can be submitted as an attached Word document.
Abstract Preparation
- Abstract must be in English, typed in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman font size of 12.
- The title should be in capital letters and bold print. Do not centre.
- The authors’ family names in full, given names in initials, their institutions, cities and countries should be listed immediately beneath the abstract title, typed in upper and lower case and single-spaced without using full The presenter’s name is to be underlined.
- The text of the abstract must include section headings such as “Background”, “Objectives”, “Materials and Methods”, “Results” and “Conclusion”. The section headings should appear in bold.
- Potential conflict of interest must be disclosed.
- For research with human subjects, the author should mention if approval from the institutional ethics review committee was obtained.
- Text must not exceed 300 words. Bar charts, graphs and tables are not allowed. Abbreviations, acronyms and symbols should be defined clearly if they are used for the first time. Place the abbreviation in parentheses after the full word.
- Use generic names of drugs.
- The presenter must select only ONE category when submitting the abstract.
- Each presenter can submit up to a maximum of 2 abstracts.
- The acceptance of the abstract is subject to full payment of the conference registration fee no later than 30 June 2026 or the abstract will be removed and rejected for presentation at NSS ASM 2026.

Preparation For Oral Presentation Requirements
- The presentation should be prepared in the aspect ratio of 16 x 9 (PowerPoint presentation). Other presentation formats are also acceptable, however there may be a black bar on either side or above and/or below the presentation.
- Time allocated will be 8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for a Q&A session
- Abstract(s) submitted for oral presentation may be at the organiser’s discretion.
- Each primary author may only give one oral presentation.
- If the said primary author has co-authors, a secondary author may present an accepted submission. This is provided the secondary author is also a registered delegate to the congress.
- The Committee’s decision is final.
